Academic Institutional Projects
Brickstone’s involvement in academic instituion construction projects evolved from our reputation of designing, building, and retrofitting high-quality properties with minimal disruption to campus activities and our ability to successfully work around client schedules during construction.
Since 2003, Brickstone has contracted with St. Joseph’s University, Philadelphia to provide property management, leasing, design, and construction management.
Brickstone is currently consulting with the University on:
- Hawks Landing – an $18 million multi-level parking structure for 400 plus cars with more than 20,000 sq/ft retail space at street level.
- The Hagan Arena – a $36.6 million comprehensive renovation of the existing Alumni Memorial Fieldhouse and RecPlex Center.
Also, Brickstone is providing preliminary construction consultant services for the $18 million renovation of the existing 74,246-square foot Francis A. Drexel Library and the construction of a 35,000-square foot, three-story atrium called the John and Maryanne Hennings Post Learning Commons (HPLC).
Our work has brought significant enhancements to St. Joseph’s, positioning us to pursue a broad range of other academic institutional development projects.
